An Edinburg man was arrested on Thursday night been arrested following an ongoing investigation for child-pornography.
According to DPS, Gustavo Garay, 27, was arrested for possession of child pornography after special agents with the Criminal Investigation Division served a search warrant at the 900 block of Sugar Rd. in Edinburg.
During the search warrant, agents confiscated electronic devices with numerous still and video images of child pornography.
Garay is facing a third-degree charge and has been transported to the Hidalgo County Jail.
