Edinburg leaders form COVID-19 Business Recovery Task Force

EDINBURG, Texas – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, City of Edinburg and Edinburg Economic Development Corporation have created a Business Recovery Task Force to help with the recovery efforts related to the COVID-19 pandemic, said the city in press release today.

The Task Force launched an initial survey on Friday, April 3 to assess the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on local businesses.

The input of business owners will help demonstrate the common challenges, improve the Task Force comprehensive response strategy, and deploy resources to address critical business needs.

“We want to do everything we can to support the economic livelihood of our local businesses.” said Mayor Richard Molina in the press release.
