EDINBURG, Texas – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, in a press release, is encouraging social distancing in a creative way by launching its ‘Member Bingo’.
It is a bingo style game to encourage citizens to patronize participating restaurants, as local businesses take a hit from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The release said each square on the bingo card features a different Edinburg Chamber member. Players must order togo from any of these members and spend a minimum of $10 and save their receipts.
Once the “BINGO” is completed, participants should take a photo of their receipts on the Bingo card and email it to Information@edinburg.com or mail it to P.O. Box 85 Edinburg, TX 78540.
The Edinburg Chamber will draw five winners on May, 1, 2020, to receive a gift card valued at $25 to one of their Chamber members. If you get a “Black Out” (all squares have a receipt) then you are in a drawing for a $100 gift card.
Customers can keep supporting their favorite eateries by downloading a bingo card at www.edinburg.com, said the release.
