Police are investigating an early morning hit-and-run crash in Edinburg. 

Edinburg police say the crash occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. Thursday at 3509 S. Raul Longoria, which is a Stripes convenience store.

Upon arrival, officers advised that there was a man in a vehicle that crashed. 

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

During the preliminary investigation it is was found that there was another involved party.

“There’s is no active threat to our community and the scene has been cleared at this time.” said Sarah Rodriguez, spokeswoman for the Edinburg Police Department.
