Drunk driver begins 11 year prison sentence, victim’s family outraged over punishment

BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Daisy Joy Decker killed a Los Fresnos teen during spring break in 2017. She took a plea deal after two years of investigating and prepping for trial with the Cameron County District Attorney’s office. As she begins her 11 year prison sentence, the victim’s family is not satisfied with that short sentence. Outraged and heartbroken they speak only with Local 23’s Derick Garcia.
