Driscoll Health System hosts virtual meeting on COVID-19 response

MCALLEN — Driscoll Health System hosted a virtual meeting on Friday to provide information on their COVID-19 response.

Doctors say they are seeing a lower number of patients going into their offices due to patients being concerned about COVID-19.

Officials also stated they were concerned with the minimal traffic in their emergency rooms.

“I am optimistic, I think we are doing better. Hopefully, we pass the peak. But we need to wait and see. so, unfortunately, no clean-cut answer there,” said one official.
