The Department of Public Safety (DPS) has recovered what is believed to be the suspect vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run that took place on La Homa road.
According to Lt. Christopher Olivarez, the department recovered a vehicle in question Tuesday at approximately 9:50 a.m.
The vehicle was found in a residence in the area of Bentsen Palm, north of 9 mile road.
The vehicle is currently in DPS custody for processing of evidence.
DPS says there is no suspect in custody as the investigation is ongoing.
The incident took place Jan. 1. at the intersection of Mile 9 and La Homa Rd. Mission resident Ronald Barker, 46, was hit just before 7:00 Wednesday evening.
