ALTON, Texas – An Alton man charged with the murder of two men is back in court. 22-year-old Oscar Armando Velasquez’s probable cause hearing has been rescheduled for February after prosecutors requested more time.
Velasquez faces two counts of Capital Murder and three counts of Criminal Attempted Murder. The incident happened in November when authorities say Velasquez shot and killed two men at a residence following an argument.
A third victim was also shot but survived. Velasquez remains jailed on a $2.5 million bond.
