Disturbing Animal Cruelty Video Lands Mission Man In Jail

Mission Police arrested 59 year old Mario Cardona, Thursday morning.

Wednesday night, a video of Cardona was shared on facebook showing him dragging a dog behind his motorized scooter.

In the video, Cardona is heard shouting to a woman filming him, “Call the cops, it’s my dog!”

G2, a German Shepard mix, is said to be in good health.

Mission Police made contact with Cardona 15 hours after the complaint was filed.

Cardona is charged with Animal Cruelty and adds to his arrest history.

Cardona has been arrested and charged aggravated arrest multiple times.

G2, is in the custody of Mission Animal Control.
