Crews working to put out Brownsville grass fire

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Firefighters are working to extinguish a grassfire in Brownsville.

The fire is located at the corner of Keith Lane and E. Hayes Street.

Crews are on site. A large cloud of black smoke can be seen from the road, behind a building.

Authorities have not disclosed what caused the fire.
