Cowboys Wrapping Up Training Camp in California

Local News

The Dallas Cowboys will break training camp on August 18 in Oxnard, California. That doesn’t mean the hard work is over. The Cowboys will continue their training camp at their new facility in Frisco Texas. This is always a difficult week as they try to prevent their minds from drifting to north Texas while their bodies are still in California.

Wide Receiver Cole Beasley says, “Just because we break camp from here doesn’t mean the camp actually ends. I mean we just have it somewhere hotter.”

Offensive Tackle La’el Collins, “Keep doing what you’ve been doing you know, keep your head down keep grinding just take it one day at a time you know, we’ll be home pretty soon but you can’t beat this California weather either.”

Head Coach Jason Garrett, “We’re focused on Monday August 15th the 14th..”

You know camp is going a little long when the head coach doesn’t even know what day it is. This he does know. Cowboys have a little work ahead of them this week before taking the Indianapolis Colts at home at AT&T Stadium on Saturday night.
