MCALLEN, Texas – Congressman Vicente Gonzalez announced in a press release that federal funds totaling $1,502,405 will be awarded to Nuestra Clinica Del Valle.

It is part of the funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

On March 27, the U.S. House of Representatives passed and the president signed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, a $2 trillion economic stimulus bill aimed at giving small businesses, families, and workers much needed economic relief.

This is the third relief package to help the American people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The release adds that Congressman Gonzalez continues to support additional funds for community health centers, rural communities and those in communities who are at risk of being disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
