BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Nexstar Media Group Incorporated is pleased to announce that it has acquired the CBS Network affiliate for the Rio Grande Valley Metropolitan area.
Nexstar, who owns and operates KVEO TV the NBC affiliate, will be moving the CBS affiliation to KVEO Channel 23.2. The same high-quality network programming previously provided by CBS 4 will continue to be available to viewers on KVEO Channel 23.2.
As a result of adding the CBS affiliation, Nexstar expects to enhance its service by expanding local news and content delivered by CBS 4 and KVEO TV. It also allows us to provide local advertisers and marketers with a broader platform from which to reach consumers.
