CBP Seizes over $740K of Methamphetamine at the Gateway International Bridge

More than $740,000 worth of methamphetamine are off the streets. U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agents stopped them at the Gateway International Bridge.

The alleged narcotics were found hidden within a 2004 white Chevy Tahoe driven by a 31 year old Mexican citizen from Matamoros.

The vehicle was referred to secondary inspection where K-9’s sniffed out 20 packages weighing at about 37 pounds. The narcotics along with the truck and the driver were turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.
