U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the Pharr International Bridge arrested two women, after discovering a total of seven pounds of cocaine concealed on their bodies.

On Feb. 28, 2017 CBP officers encountered two women, ages 19 and 54, a United States citizen and a Mexican citizen, respectively, from Pharr. They attempted to enter the United States from Mexico in a grey 2002 Ford F-150.

Officers discovered one package of narcotics on each woman concealed under their clothing. Officers seized the two packages of cocaine, which have a total estimated street value of $54,060.
