Caravan from El Salvador Making Its Way to U.S.

Local News

Another group of migrants from Central America is on the way to our border. This group is from El Salvador and they started out today. They hope to reach the U.S. within several weeks.

A group of about 300 Salvadorans departed from the capital, San Salvador, headed toward the border with Guatemala. The group was organized via Facebook and imitated other recent caravans that have brought migrants together. These migrants have little money and are looking to make the trip without paying hefty fees to human traffickers.
