Cameron County requiring masks in all businesses

CAMERON COUNTY, Texas — Masks will be required in businesses across Cameron County as COVID-19 cases continue to increase in the Rio Grande Valley.

The order is in effect beginning Friday.

Cameron County leaders are looking to stop the spread of COVID-19 with this mandate.

According to a release, all businesses in Cameron County that provide goods and services must provide develop a health and safety policy where using a face mask is required.

The mandate is in order for all people over the age of 10 years old.
