Police investigating shooting that left two dead in Brownsville

Police are investigating an early  Saturday shooting in Brownsville.

According to a release, the Brownsville Police Department responded to a call for service just after 5 a.m. at the 400 block of Parral St. in reference to a shooting.

Officers found two unresponsive individuals with gunshot wounds on their bodies at the location. They both were pronounced dead.

Authorities identified the victims as Adolfo Garza, 57, and Amelia Garza, 42.

According to the release, an autopsy has been ordered. Authorities continue investigating the case.
