Brownsville George Floyd mural vandalized again

Local News

BROWNVILLE — Once again, the George Floyd mural in downtown Brownsville has been defaced.

In June, white paint was splattered on the mural, however, the artist who painted the mural, RGV native Marcos Castro, repainted the mural on a rainy day.

On Wednesday, the mural was vandalized again, this time with black ink scribbled across the artwork.

There is no word if Castro looks to fix the painting once again.
