BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Brownsville police reported a body was found in the Rio Grande Monday morning near the university.
At 9 a.m. the Brownsville Police Department responded to the 300 block of River Levee Road in reference to a body.
Police said the body had been taken out of the water. Authorities have not identified the deceased.
This is an ongoing investigation.
