Border Patrol seeing an increase in apprehensions of Chinese nationals

EDINBURG, Texas – Border patrol is seeing an increase in Chinese nationals being apprehended at our ports of entry. Border patrol officials say they are now apprehending an average of five Chinese immigrants a day. Officials add, they haven’t encountered any issues of ill migrants with the coronavirus, there are measures in place to identify individuals who may be infected, assuring they are working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and local health officials.
