EDINBURG, Texas — Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley rescued an individual that suffered a head injury while evading arrest, Thursday morning.
According to a release, agents at the McAllen Border Patrol station located a group near Havana, Texas that attempted to flee in a nearby brush. One of the individuals struck a tree and suffered an injury to his forehead during persecution.
Medical professionals assisted the injured man. He was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
The release adds the subject will be processed after he is cleared for travel by the hospital.
