Border Patrol Identifies Two Gang Members

Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley identified two more Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang members.  

Yesterday, agents assigned to the Weslaco station encountered a group of undocumented immigrants who had just crossed the Rio Grande near Hidalgo, Texas. During processing, one of the undocumented immigrants admitted to agents that he is a member of the MS-13 gang.

Early this morning, McAllen agents apprehended a group of six undocumented immigrants near Madero, Texas. During processing, agents identified one of the subjects as an MS-13 gang member.

The Border Patrol is processing the subjects accordingly.
