Border Patrol discovers smuggling stash house in McAllen

Harlingen, Texas (KVEO)—Border Patrol discovers stash house in McAllen, operating as a human smuggling stash house, according to a news release.

On Thursday, Rio Grande Valley Sector agents working with the Hidalgo County Constable’s Office (HCCO) located the residence and stopped the homeowners that was attempting to leave.

Inside the residence, agents and deputies saw two Korean women who admitted to being in the country illegally. Agents arrested the three women and transported them to the station for processing.

Later that day, Kingsville agents working at the Javier Vega, Jr. checkpoint stopped a blue Honda. According to the news release, agents saw three undocumented immigrants crammed into the trunk.
