Border Patrol Continues To Rescue Several Undocumented Immigrants

U.S. Border Patrol agents continue to encounter undocumented immigrants in distress throughout the Rio Grande Valley. 

On Saturday, agents assigned to the McAllen station encountered a group of illegal aliens, one of who appeared to be disorientated and then became unresponsive. A Border Patrol Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) evaluated the subject and requested a Medevac. Agents and Department of Safety Troopers carried the Salvadoran man to a nearby field and he was subsequently airlifted to a local hospital. 

About an hour later, Falfurrias agents responded to a 911 call from the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office BCSO) regarding a lost subject. Agents responded to the last known geographical coordinates and located the subject. 

On Sunday, Harlingen agents discovered an unconscious male near the riverbank of the Rio Grande. The man became conscious shortly after agents encountered him. The man stated that he suffers from diabetes. Agents transported him to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment. 

Later in the day, Weslaco agents responded to a 911 call from the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office regarding a lost subject requesting medical attention. Agents responded to the last known geographical coordinates and rescued the male Salvadoran national.

All subjects are processed accordingly.
