U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Rio Grande Valley Sector arrested four illegal immigrant criminals over the weekend. One subject was a wanted sexual predator.

The most significant arrest occurred when Falfurrias Station agents working in Brooks County, apprehended a Salvadoran national who was attempting to circumvent the checkpoint. During records checks, it was discovered that the subject had an active warrant out of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office for Indecency with a Child/Sexual Contact, dated March 17, 2015.

Agents in Starr County also apprehended two other subjects, a Honduran and Guatemalan national, who admitted to being members of the deadly Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) Street Gang. And finally, Kingsville agents apprehended a Salvadoran national, also a known member of the MS-13.  All subjects were referred for prosecution and processed for removal proceedings.
