Antonia Garcia Vela, who was charged with false report to a law enforcement officer, was given a $10,000 bond. Karla Gauna was given a $10,000 bond for the false report to a law enforcement officer charge and a $25,000 bond for the hindering the apprehension of a felon charge. Janet Rodriguez was also given a $10,000 bond for the false report to a law enforcement officer charge and a $25,000 bond for the hindering the apprehension of a felon charge.

A judge on Tuesday arraigned a 21-year-old man linked to the murder of two women in Palmview in December  and set bond at $2 million.

U.S. Marshals arrested Guadalupe Vela Wednesday, Jan. 6 at a house in Beaumont. Vela was wanted by the Palmview Police Department after investigators believed he killed two women, who have been identified as Yvette Garza and Natalie Hernandez, on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, CBS 4 News previously reported.

Vela was charged with two counts of capital murder, and was given a $2 million bond Tuesday. 

His mother Antonia Garcia Vela was arrested and charged with false report to a law enforcement officer. The 21-year-old man’s sister Karla Gauna and his girlfriend Janet Rodriguez were also charged with false report to a law enforcement officer and hindering the apprehension of a felon. 

Vela and the three women are currently being held at the Hidalgo County Jail.
