Blessing Box Vandalized

Local News

The city of Mission is asking for your help tonight to track down the person or people responsible for vandalizing their blessing box.

As you can see the Plexiglas on the box was broken.

It happened at the city of Mission food pantry blessing box in the 100 block of Mayberry.

These boxes are provided across the town and are open 24-7. They help ensure those in need always have something to eat with the precept, “Leave what you can, and take what you need.”

Officials say it is the second time it has been vandalized.

Anyone with information is urged to call Mission Crime Stoppers at 956-581-TIPS.
