Bicyclist in McAllen Said to Burn Over a Million Calories

The B-Cycle program in McAllen has officially surpassed one million calories burned among users.

City officials claim that 4,000 riders enrolled in the bicycle share program and have accumulated the estimated sum of calories since October of 2015.

So far there is  a total of 80 bikes and 8 stations as an effort to promote a safe, affordable, transportation method.

Representatives from the city of McAllen estimate that cyclist have driven over 27 thousand miles.
