An 85-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon when bees attacked him near Raymondville.
At about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, emergency medical technicians responded to reports of a bee attack near the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 490 and Farm-to-Market Road 88, said Willacy County Emergency Medical Services Director Frank Torres.
They found an 85-year-old man with multiple bee stings. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials haven’t released the man’s name.
