Attorneys Deliver Closing Statements in State of Texas Vs. Joel Luna and Eduardo Luna Rodriguez

Local News

The capital murder trial in the State of Texas vs. Joel Luna and Eduardo Luna Rodriguez is coming to a close.

The attorneys gave their closing remarks and the jury is deliberating. This is a capital murder case that dates back to March of 2015.

The state and the defense stood before the jury and said why their clients were either guilty or not guilty.

In the case of the prosecution, they say they have presented all of the evidence necessary to prove that Joel Luna, his brother Eduardo Luna, along with the others involved are guilty.

The defense however is not so sure. They said, their own respective clients are not guilty. Their argument is that the prosecution did not provide enough evidence.

The jury could be out deliberating for the next few hours, few days, or even weeks. It all depends on how the jury finds the evidence, because at the end of the day they are the ones that are going to go piece by piece to determine what is credible and what is not.
