April is Amnesty Month at McAllen Public Library

The McAllen Public Library is running a month-long drive to get overdue items back on the shelves. Fines for any overdue books, CD’s, DVD’s and Blu-rays will be removed if the items are returned before April 30.

All items may be returned to any of the of the MPL’s three locations. During last year’s amnesty period, more than $9,000 in fines were waived. Fines for previously returned items that were overdue will not be eligible for amnesty.

  • Main Branch – 4001 N. 23rd Street
  • Lark Brach – 2601 Lark Avenue
  • Palm View Branch – 3401 Jordan Avenue
