Annual Toy Drive Scheduled for Dec 21st

Local News

The Mission Police Department officially announced the kickoff of their 21st annual toy drive.

Mission PD plans to give toys for 350 families in need on December 21st.

At this time, event organizers claim they have raised over 2-thousand-six-hundred toys, but they will continue accepting donations until the day of the event.

Police tell us that their 350 family limits have been filled, but they will likely accommodate walk in visitors.

Police Chief Robert Dominguez says, “we have an occupation that we obviously love and what we love as police officers. But it is extra special when you are able to also help in the way we’re helping with these toy drives.”

The event will be at 1 PM at the Mission Police Department.
