Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home continued their annual tradition of giving away gifts to children.
In all, 6,000 gifts were given to 1,500 needy children in the Los Fresnos area on Sunday.
Cesar Ornelas tells CBS 4 this is something they’ve been doing for the last nine years. He says they don’t turn anyone away.
“We give back to the community. That’s what Angel Lucy’s Funeral home is all about.”
Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home also does a back to school shoe giveaway every year. Ornelas said that last year 800 kids were involved in the event.
