Aggravated Assault suspect charged

EDINBURG, Texas – Edinburg Police say they have arrested a man who fired two shots into the air in the early morning hours on Sunday after an argument with his girlfriend.

Police say James Aldair Tennefoss was involved in the incident. The also say Tennefoss had a dispute with his girlfriend and after the dispute a neighbor asked if she was OK. Authorities say Tennefoss came out with a shotgun and told the victim to stay away from his girlfriend. He fired two shots and also pointed the gun at the victim.

Tennefoss was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and given a $30,000 bail.
