PHARR, Texas – Henry Ford Elementary in Pharr is introducing QBall lessons. The QBall is a throwable wireless microphone that students can talk into and toss to one another. This innovative technology aims to empower students and increase their participation while making their learning experience fun.

Narda Lugo, Ford Elementary Librarian, “I am hoping that with the use of the QBall our students are more equipped with resources. To be able to know that their voices can be heard and their voices do count.”

Jason Ledezma, First grader, “I was tossing the QBall and speaking into it. It was really fun and I wish we can do it again.”

Experts say students retain more information when they are having fun because the process of learning is enjoyable and therefore makes it memorable for them.
