BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Preparations now underway for the return of the Holiday Village at Dean Porter Park.
The Brownsville site will be host to 33 cottages, lighting and music for a family centered attraction.
This year, the event will be on its 10th annual celebration.
According to Holiday Village Chair Laurie Ray, this year will be home of two new cottages: the Toy Hospital and the North Pole Barbiere.
Opening ceremonies and the first official lighting of the season are taking place on Monday, November 4th at 6pm with the lighting at 7pm.
Admission is free all day every day, and the cottages are lit at 6pm each evening. Santa Claus will be in the gazebo and available for free pictures every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
