$105K Worth of Cocaine Seized at Progreso/Donna Port of Entry

U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO) at the Progreso/Donna Port of Entry seized alleged cocaine valued at $105,740 during an enforcement exam.

The seizure occurred on February 14 at the Progreso International Bridge after CBP officers referred a white 2013 Nissan Sentra to secondary for inspection. The vehicle was driven by a 21-year-old male Mexican citizen from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. After a physical inspection of the vehicle and with the assistance of a canine, officers discovered six packages allegedly containing approximately 13.71 pounds of cocaine concealed with the vehicle.

CBP OFO seized the narcotics, valued at approximately $105,740, and the vehicle.  The case remains under investigation by Homeland Security Investigations special agents
