HARLINGEN, Texas (KVEO) — Harlingen’s New York Deli will be helping United Way’s Fill the Bus Campaign.
The campaign provides school supplies for thousands of kids throughout the Valley thanks to generous donations.
Due to health concerns, direct donations are no longer possible.
“So, it’s very rewarding. It warms our hearts. It feels like it’s going to be a good campaign. It may not have a whole room of boxes of school supplies, but we’ll be able to write a check to the districts in our region,” said Kathy Preddy Resource Development Director for United Way.
To help, grab a bite at the Harlingen New York Deli at 122 N A Street this Wednesday from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.
20 percent of all proceeds will go towards the campaign.
