RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas – Authorities are currently investigating a two-vehicle crash that sent two people and a toddler to the hospital.
According to DPS officials, the crash occurred at 5:54 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 4.
A white jeep SUV was traveling westbound when it is believed to have swerved into the oncoming lane and crashed head on with a Brown Chevy SUV.
The female driver of the white jeep SUV was transported to Valley Baptist with broken bones. There was also a two-year-old child passenger who was transported with minor scratches for observational purposes.
The male driver was transported to Valley Regional.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
