McAllen (Texas)–A non-profit organization from Dallas is working in conjunction with the Rio Grande Valley Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic in McAllen to help lower costs of neuter and spay services for residents.
The Underdog Project says the neuter clinic provides them with a location in McAllen to perform procedures, and they are also taking care of the dogs. The non profit organization takes care of the costs.
“People are on a waiting list already, so far we have 10 to 15 appointments” said Leslie Hennings, founder of the Underdog Project.
Hennings say residents are expected to make appointments and they will be placed in a waiting list.
“We are targeting people that are in rural areas and that don’t have access to clinics. We will also set up a line with a phone number for people to make appointments” said Hennings.
To book an appointment and be placed on a waiting list or for more information, please contact the under dog project on Facebook
