Fiesta De Palmas set for McAllen Convention Center

MCALLEN, Texas – The finishing touches are being put in place for this year’s Fiesta De Palmas. The event is set for Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22 at the McAllen Convention Center. There will be lots of live international music, a carnival international food trucks, a laser light show Beer Around the World and free tequila tasting, plus much, much more. Entrance into the event is $5 but children under 12 can get in free.

Stephanie Ramirez, Marketing and Special Events Supervisor, “It’s the biggest fiesta, biggest party, in south Texas this weekend and you want to make sure you don’t miss it because if you do miss it, your going to be like crying because it’s going to be so much fun. You’re going to see all the pictures there’s going to be so much excitement.”

The two day event will also include special performances by Paulina Rubio, Kevin Fowler and Selena-the Experience. On Sunday from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm everyone can enter for free, if you purchase entrance into the Beer Gardens that will also get you free admission.
