DONNA, Texas – Tuesday, Donna ISD officials spoke out on the task force aimed at ensuring a safe return to school in the fall.
In a release, officials said that the team will research and strategize a safe and successful school year to ensure that no matter the status on COVID-19, fall instruction will be able to continue.
“We are very excited about it because we are going to be able to hear from all stakeholders and also have an opportunity to address as many concerns as possible again to ensure that for the next school year will be safe but also a successful one when it comes to instruction to continue learning,” said Hafedh Aziaez Donna ISD Superintendent.
District officials added that the task force consists of nearly 40 members, four of which are high school students.
