RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas – CPL Retail Energy announced options for customers to receive help during the COVID-19 pandemic, following the Public Utilities Commission of Texas’ announcement of the COVID-19 Relief Program.
According to a release, the COVID-19 Relief Program will aid residential customers with low-income or unemployment due to the pandemic. The release states they may be eligible for 6 months of disconnection protection and some financial assistance. To apply for relief, please contact Solix at 1-866-454-8387.
CPL customers needing assistance paying their bills are advised to contact the company and ask about their deferred and extended payment plans, said the release.
