Community Service Agency moving disaster relief to La Villa

EDINBURG, Texas — The Hidalgo County Community Service Agency will be moving their disaster relief operation to La Villa. Currently, CSA is providing limited disaster relief services to low income residents in Monte Alto but will be moving their operations to the City of La Villa Event Center starting Friday, July 5, 2019.

CSA Executive Director Jaime Longoria said personnel will be on hand from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through Wednesday, July 10. The limited assistance is available to residents living below 125 percent of the federal poverty level. For example, qualifying income for a family of four is $32,188 or below.

Residents must bring the following documentation to apply:

  • Valid photo identification
  • Proof of income (last 30 days)
  • Photos of damage
  • Utility bill for the address of the damaged home
  • Proof of home ownership (if applying for the clean-up kit)

The City of La Villa Event Center is located at 916 S. Mike Chapa in La Villa. Please park behind the fire station.
