City of Harlingen hosting public forum for flood victims

HARLINGEN, Texas – The city of Harlingen will be hosting a public forum for victims of the June floods. FEMA and emergency management coordinators will be available to discuss questions about ongoing disaster relief efforts. Their goal is to reach residents with information about federal assistance, including what to do if you receive an “ineligible” response from FEMA. The forum will take place Thursday, August 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Casa e amistad.’
