DONNA, Texas – Work crews near Donna are at work installing sections of the border wall slated for Hidalgo County. Work crews laying steel rebar in preparation for the border wall. The rebar will reinforce concrete panels which in turn will be topped with 18 foot steel bollards. Crews are also working to clear vegetation 150 feet in front of the wall. Officials say work crews will soon begin to lay down concrete.
