Border Patrol agents assisted with the takedown of a pseudo-narco zoo in the Rio Grande Valley, an official announced Thursday.
According to Austin Skero, Deputy Chief Patrol Agent, the Border Patrol, along with federal and state agencies, shutdown the narco zoo in the mid-valley.
Officials seized a Bengal tiger, emus, llamas, porcupines, and a kinkajou.
The animals were turned over to Texas zoos for medical care and placement, said Skero.
The location of the narco zoo is not currently available.
