SULLIVAN CITY, Texas – The autopsies for two males and one female found about three miles from the Rio Grande River in Sullivan City on Friday are pending. The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the deaths.

Investigators don’t how they died but believe they crossed into the U.S. illegally. Investigators didn’t see any visible signs of trauma on either of the victims nor did they observe any signs of foul play. The names and countries of origin is not known at this time. It is presumed they died from heat related conditions.

In 2018, the sheriff’s office investigated the death of 29 victims, and 18 deaths so far this year. Autopsy results are pending.
