ALAMO, Texas – Two valley residents have lost their lives in a tragic accident this afternoon in Indianapolis.

The crash happened at approximately two in the afternoon along Interstate 70 after authorities say a van rear ended a stopped semi-tractor trailer.

Preliminary investigation reveals traffic was backed up due to road repairs.

83-year-old Robbie Davis and 86-year-old Lawrence Bochantin, who were riding in that van, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the driver of the tractor trailer did not sustain any injuries.
